Ogden, UT to West Yellowstone, MT

If you are following along on your map, we went north on I-15 out of Utah and into Idaho where we picked up US-20 northeast through Idaho and into Montana, all the way to West Yellowstone.

We picked West Yellowstone because it is right outside the west entrance to Yellowstone NP and the downtown area reminds us so much of Gatlinburg, TN (NOT!).

We're staying at the Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park and Cabins because it is less than a mile from the Park entrance, is a superb facility, and the managers were so nice and helpful to us last year when MMG fell and hurt her shoulder on a Park trail.

That said, their prices have increase from just Pricey to Very Pricey!

OTOH, the next best campgrounds are 12 and 13 miles, respectively, from the Park entrance making a difference of 350 (25 X 14) miles driving for us over the next two weeks.

No pictures today, but we promise to make up for it over the next few days!
